U9-U14 BASC ELITE 2012 – 2013 TRAVELING SOCCER PROGRAM
The Burlington Area Soccer Club (BASC) Elite traveling soccer teams are the premier soccer teams in Southeast Iowa. The BASC Elite Program offers competitive soccer for boys and girls from the age of 7 thru 18. The BASC Elite Program strives to provide an atmosphere where players can develop advanced soccer skills while competing against other regional soccer clubs.
Schedule
The 2012-2013 Elite Program runs from August 2012 through June 2013.
The Elite teams will participate in an 8 game fall season, an 8 game spring season as well as 6 regional tournaments. In 2012-2013 the U11 thru U14 Elite teams will play in the IPSL (Iowa Premier Soccer League) for the fall and spring seasons. The U9 and U10 teams will participate in the ICCR (Iowa City – Cedar Rapids) league. Participation in the BASC/YMCA recreational league is not required.
The IPSL and ICCR regional soccer leagues schedule premier teams in the Eastern Iowa communities against other premier teams in order to provide a higher level of competition than can be found in the local communities.
